This is a noisy world and when you quiet yourself, your senses are heightened to it. In stillness you wait to hear from me, but the noise around you is a distraction; your own thoughts also clamour for attention and the voice of the enemy speaks confusion and leaves you doubting whether you will hear me. But I am here and when I speak, all other noises and distractions are silenced. I am truth, hear me. I am love, listen. My comfort speaks to your heartache and my healing to your brokenness. Listen, I am here. Be still. Do you hear? I am speaking to your heart. You are mine. You are loved. You are my beloved and no one can snatch you out of my hand. I hold you close. You are near to my chest and I love you. My voice cuts through the clutter. Stay a little longer and hear me speak. I am God, your Maker and my arm is not too short that it cannot reach you. My eyes see you and my love reaches you. I know you and I love you. You are precious to me my child. Be still. I am here.
“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.”
Isaiah 59:1

Where is the noise and clutter in my world?

Help me hear your voice.
