I will never rush you out of my presence. I don’t get annoyed or irritated and I can’t become impatient with you. Stay a while. Linger a bit longer. I love spending time with you. Hush, be still for a moment. You don’t need to say anything. I know you’ve got to go, but if you wait, I’ll make it up to you. All those things you need to get done today? I’ll help you with them, if you just pause with me. Be still. Listen. Breathe. This is nice. Okay, now you can talk. I love hearing your voice. And your thoughts. I guess you do need to go now. Take me with you though. I’ll show you how to have a really great day. I know you’ve got some tough stuff ahead of you, but I can help you with it all. Yes, even that appointment. And, I’m happy to help with that person. No, they are not too far gone. Remember how much I’ve helped you and how far you’ve come? I love showing you that. You don’t have to stay there, but it’s worth taking a look so you’re not so hard on yourself and others.
