Great is my love for you. Deep is my compassion toward you. Kindness flows from me and floods your parched soul. Refreshing waters of grace and streams of mercy touch the dry wastelands of your life. You are my pure delight. You hunger and thirst for righteousness and my heart sings at the thought of you. Goodness and mercy follow you all your days. Look at the birds of the air my loved one. They don’t plant or harvest or store their food, and yet, I take care of them. I feed them. You are far more valuable to me than they are. Why are you so worried about what you’re going to wear? Look at the flowers of the field. Do you see how they bloom? They don’t work at looking good, yet see how beautiful they are. I take care of the wild flowers, but you mean much more to me. Don’t worry. I’ve got you. I am your good Father and I love you. Look to me. Be aware of and stay devoted to the things I’m doing in you and through you. Live in step with me and I will give you everything you need today.
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
